El Proceso de la Fe en Jesús como Hijo de Dios.
Hemos llegado a la quinta semana y la última de la cuaresma, nos ha dado la palabra de Dios muchos mensajes para que volvamos a Él, le sigamos, amemos, sirvamos y sobre todo lo hagamos presente con nuestra Fe.
Jesús ora por su amigo Lázaro que descansa en la tumba, la oración de Jesús siempre es liberadora, sana, calma, consuela, y hoy no es diferente, Él sabe llegar a la situación cuando más lo necesitan y esta familia estaba desconsolada, pero más que eso, Jesús busca que todos los hombres y mujeres se conviertan, y la Resurrección es la promesa de vida eterna y no debemos perder la ocasión de resucitar, pero antes hay que cambiar, convertirse, y seguirlo .
Entre todos los seguidores de Jesús hay diferentes motivaciones, unos cuantos realmente van desarrollando un conocimiento de Él como Hijo de Dios, como el Mesías, y va surgiendo en ellos la vida nueva de la FE, y eso ocurre con Marta hoy, ella duda, pero Jesús está ahí para apoyarla y sostenerle su fe y al final ella declara su fe y Jesús le contesta:
Yo soy la resurrección y la vida: el que cree en mí, aunque haya muerto, vivirá; y el que está vivo y cree en mí, no morirá para siempre. ¿Crees esto?”. Marta le dice que sí, pero después vuelve a dudar. Y Jesús le vuelve a decir: “¿No te he dicho que, si crees, verás la gloria de Dios?”. ¿Cuántas veces necesitamos oír estas palabras de Jesús para que nuestra fe no se tambalee ni siquiera ante la muerte? Este pasaje nos predispone a celebrar la Pascua, la resurrección de Jesús, la VIDA con mayúsculas. Pero si esto no entra en nuestro corazón y hasta lo más profundo de nuestra vida, no podremos celebrar nada. Marta somos todos. Pero no olvidemos que al final Jesús llevó a muchos de los que estaban allí a creer en él, y Marta con más fuerza que antes.
La Cuaresma sigue teniendo el propósito de acercarnos más a Dios, de que tengamos más ratos de “conversación” con Él (de oración, vamos) y de que esos ratos hagan posible que “cambiemos el corazón” (conversión) y que nuestra fe se fortalezca para darnos cuenta de que es un Dios vivo, el Dios de la Vida y la felicidad. La Eucaristía es un momento especial para encontrarnos con ese Dios, que también nos sale al encuentro en la vida de cada día, en cada persona y en cada acontecimiento. Que Lázaro, Marta y María, que eran sus amigos, nos ayuden a crecer en amistad con Él y a cuidar más nuestros encuentros en la oración, en la Eucaristía, en los demás (especialmente en los más pobres), para que nuestra fe en Jesús crezca cada día.Paz y Bien.

ALMSGIVING OPPORTUNITIES
During Lent, we are asked to focus more intently on "almsgiving," which means donating money or goods to the poor and performing other acts of charity. As one of the three pillars of Lenten practice, almsgiving is "a witness to fraternal charity" and "a work of justice pleasing to God." (Catechism of the Catholic Church, no. 2462).

El enfoque está en la vida de oración: aprender a orar de varias maneras, especialmente a través de las Escrituras y los sacramentos.

At Totally Catholic Stellar VBS, kids will discover what it means to shine Jesus' light in everyday life through awesome Bible-learning experiences. Sciency-Fun Gizmos, team-building games, unforgettable Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that will help their faith flow into real life.
Kids aged 4 (TK) thru 10 (5th) are invited to discover what it means to shine Jesus' light.
