Allow the word or phrase to wash over you and permeate your thoughts. Spend some quiet time in prayer asking Jesus to reveal what he wants to reveal to you through these readings.

Paz y Bien, estamos recordando muy fuertemente a nuestro querido Papa Francisco que nos ha dejado, se ha ido al lado de Dios, agradecemos a Dios por los años que le prestó aquí en la tierra y por todo lo que él hizo para extender el Reino de Dios, hasta el último momento vivió siendo el Pastor de las ovejas y cuidándolas.
Este domingo llamamos de la Misericordia, es el segundo domingo y semana del tiempo pascual que son 7 semanas donde vivimos de cerca la experiencia de la Pascua, Cristo ha Resucitado y con Él hemos resucitado todos. Nos encontramos en la liturgia con Tomas uno de los doce que no estaba a la hora que llego Jesús y cuestiono si realmente había llegado, eso no tiene nada de malo, confió en Jesús y estaba asustado, y cuando lo ve, lo reconoce y se declara su discípulo cuando dice¨ Señor Mío y Dios mío¨.
Esta pascua nos debe hacer presente a Jesús resucitado en todos nuestros ambientes, con nuestros actos de amor y fe hacia todos. Con nuestra oración, la vivencia y participación de la eucaristía, la lectura y meditación de la palabra de Dios y con la fe y la paz que este domingo nos pide que pongamos en práctica. Todo esto se convierte en la fe en luz, acción, palabra, vida, cambio, nueva creación, a todo eso estamos invitados a vivir y testimoniar en esta Pascua. Felices Pascuas de Resurrección a todos.

EASTER CELEBRATION
Easter is the celebration of the Lord’s resurrection from the dead, culminating in his Ascension to the Father and sending of the Holy Spirit upon the Church. There are 50 days of Easter from the first Sunday to Pentecost Sunday.

In the Church from 4-7 PM
Tuesday's Adoration starts with a song in Spanish. At 4:50 PM the Divine Mercy Chaplet is offered in Spanish. Then at 5:50 PM the Divine Mercy Chaplet in English. At 6:50 PM the Benediction. The time in between is spent in quiet prayer before Jesus, who is present in the Eucharist.

If you are working with or around minors in the Catholic Church in the parish, sports, clubs, or school settings, you are required by the Archdiocese to complete a Live Scan and be fingerprinted. If you are a parent volunteer and have been fingerprinted previously, you do not need to do it again. Contact the church office if you have questions.

April 26-27 || Gardens of Healing for survivor-victims in all five of the Archdiocese’s pastoral regions
The Archdiocese of Los Angeles has created gardens of healing in each of the Archdiocese’s pastoral regions, dedicated to those harmed by sexual abuse, in their family, church or community. Located at St. Camillus Pastoral Center in Boyle Heights (San Gabriel Pastoral Region), Our Lady of the Assumption Parish in Ventura (Santa Barbara Pastoral Region), St. Francis de Sales Parish in Sherman Oaks (San Fernando Pastoral Region), St. Bernadette Parish in Los Angeles (Our Lady of the Angels Pastoral Region), and Our Lady of Refuge in Long Beach (San Pedro Pastoral Region) these gardens offer a sacred space for all those impacted by abuse to seek comfort and solace. In each garden there is a weeping wall and a plaque with a reflection by Archbishop Gomez, which starts with: “Dedicated to all those impacted by sexual abuse in the Church, their communities, their families – may all who visit find some measure of renewal, peace and comfort in doing so.” For more information, visit lacatholics.org/healing-gardens.

La Arquidiócesis de Los Ángeles ha creado Jardines de Sanación en cada una de las regiones pastorales de la Arquidiócesis, dedicados a aquellos perjudicados por el abuso sexual, en su familia, iglesia o comunidad. NATIONAL VOCATION AWARENESS WEEK
November 5-11, 2023 is an annual week-long celebration of the Catholic Church in the United States dedicated to promoting vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and consecrated life through prayer and education, and to renew our prayers and support for those who are considering one of these particular vocations.
PATHWAY TO DISCIPLESHIP WRAP UP & WHAT’S NEXT EVENING
Peace to our Disciples of Jesus Christ who have participated in our first Pathway to Discipleship! You are invited to a one-evening reunion, to catch up with one another and learn more opportunities on how you can continue the journey.
The gathering will be on Wednesday November 29th from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. Like other sessions, we will provide a meal, childcare, Praise & Worship, a presentation, prayer time, and small group discussion. The topics presented will be how to continue your spiritual growth as individuals or in groups, and/or join in our parish ministry of evangelization or serve the parish in other ways. Please join us! EUCHARISTIC CARAVAN, MAY 16, 17, 18
Hop on board the Eucharistic Caravan to walk with Our Lord through the streets of San Francisco as pilgrims move towards Indianapolis for the National Eucharistic Congress this July. A pilgrimage is the simultaneous
movement of feet and soul to encounter God. This is a journey WITH Jesus. With the gift of the Eucharist, Jesus gave us a new way to walk alongside him. Do you want to accompany Jesus this May?

This weekend in lieu of the Maintenance Fund, OLG will hold a special collection for the Holy Land Emergency Relief Fund, to help those who are going through extreme difficulties in Gaza and Israel.
