La Iglesia propone en su liturgia vivir la pascua siempre, pero en los diferentes tiempos litúrgicos tenemos su propio énfasis, pero la pascua es siempre la celebración, pasión, muerte y resurrección de Jesucristo.
Hemos vuelto a retomar el tiempo ordinario esta será la 11ava semana del tiempo ordinario, pero la Santísima Trinidad este domingo es celebrada en todas nuestras misas. La solemnidad del Dios trino y uno, el misterio del amor del Dios Trino y Uno siempre esta presente.
La Santísima Trinidad es el dogma fundamental del cristianismo. Consiste en la creencia de que Dios es uno y trino, es decir, es una unidad conformada por tres personas divinas relacionadas entre sí: el Padre, el Hijo y el Espíritu Santo. Nuestra fe y en el credo lo profesamos, es en un Dios trinitario: Dios Padre, Dios Hijo y Dios Espíritu Santo.
ES un dogma de la Iglesia católica muy importante, donde celebramos a Dios siempre en su unidad y amor. No confesamos tres dioses sino un solo Dios en tres personas: "la Trinidad consubstancial"... Las personas divinas no se reparten la única divinidad, sino que cada una de ellas es enteramente Dios: "El Padre es lo mismo que es el Hijo, el Hijo lo mismo que es el Padre, el Padre y el Hijo lo mismo que el Espíritu Santo, es decir, un solo Dios por naturaleza". En nuestra piedad popular es muy fuerte y lo usamos para la liturgia en los sacramentos, la señal de la cruz, que es trinitaria, nos ponemos bajo la protección del padre, del hijo y del Espíritu santo, esta es una protección e invocación que no debemos olvidar, cada día, encomendarnos y encomendar a los demás a la protección de la Santa Trinidad. Siempre estamos protegidos por el amor de Dios en sus divinas personas. Paz y Bien.

Congratulations to Fr. Peter F. Mallin, OFM Conv., who celebrates his 35th anniversary of priesthood ordination on June 16th. He was also able to celebrate his milestone by doing the Camino Walk from May 1st through 6th to the shrine of Santiago de Compostela, in Spain. If you submitted a prayer petition, he carried them on his Camino Walk (72 miles in six days) and laid them by the tomb of St. James the Apostle at the shrine.
ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT

Tuesday's Adoration starts with a song in Spanish. At 4:50 PM the Divine Mercy Chaplet is offered in Spanish. Then at 5:50 PM the Divine Mercy Chaplet in English. At 6:50 PM the Benediction. The time in between is spent in quiet prayer before Jesus, who is present in the Eucharist.

Eucharistic Ministers Needed at LCM Hospital
Do you love being an Extraordinary Minister at church?
If so, please consider volunteering to give communion to the sick at Providence Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance. Opportunities range from one day a month to as often as you like, weekdays or weekends between 9am and 3pm. You must be an active Eucharistic Minister at your parish. Orientation and training are provided. It is such a gift to bring Jesus to the sick!! The OLG Niland Education Fund was established in 2005. Every Catholic is called to protect the most vulnerable, including children who are at risk for abuse and exploitation.
If you are working with or around minors in the Catholic Church in the parish, sports, clubs, or school settings, you are required by the Archdiocese to complete a Live Scan and be fingerprinted. If you are a parent volunteer and have been fingerprinted previously, you do not need to do it again. Contact the church office if you have questions.

June 14-15 || Body safety information for young children
Children should know the difference between “okay” and “not okay” or “good” and “bad” touches – touches that are welcome and comforting, and those that are intrusive, unwanted, painful, or uncomfortable. Children should know that they have the right to say “no” to being touched, even to adults, and that no children or adults should touch their private parts unless in very specific circumstances, and for a healthy purpose. This is where it can be helpful to discuss “safe adults,” like doctors, who check our bodies to help keep us healthy, and only in the presence of a parent or trusted adult. NATIONAL VOCATION AWARENESS WEEK
November 5-11, 2023 is an annual week-long celebration of the Catholic Church in the United States dedicated to promoting vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and consecrated life through prayer and education, and to renew our prayers and support for those who are considering one of these particular vocations.
PATHWAY TO DISCIPLESHIP WRAP UP & WHAT’S NEXT EVENING
Peace to our Disciples of Jesus Christ who have participated in our first Pathway to Discipleship! You are invited to a one-evening reunion, to catch up with one another and learn more opportunities on how you can continue the journey.
The gathering will be on Wednesday November 29th from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. Like other sessions, we will provide a meal, childcare, Praise & Worship, a presentation, prayer time, and small group discussion. The topics presented will be how to continue your spiritual growth as individuals or in groups, and/or join in our parish ministry of evangelization or serve the parish in other ways. Please join us! Hop on board the Eucharistic Caravan to walk with Our Lord through the streets of San Francisco as pilgrims move towards Indianapolis for the National Eucharistic Congress this July. A pilgrimage is the simultaneous
movement of feet and soul to encounter God. This is a journey WITH Jesus. With the gift of the Eucharist, Jesus gave us a new way to walk alongside him. Do you want to accompany Jesus this May?
