Hemos llegado al final del Tiempo de navidad y fin del año civil . Nuestra Iglesia celebra el bautismo del Señor indicando la forma en como el Hijo de Dios es reconocido por El Espíritu Santo. Como Dios y como Hombre Jesús se aproxima a todo hombre y mujer que quiere caminar en el camino de la luz y de la vida nueva . Hemos llegado al punto donde Jesús es adulto y su ministerio público se asoma y con ello muchos empezarán a ver en su actuación al Hijo De Dios , al mesías , al líder , u otros muchos descubrirán un camino de salvación .
Esto es lo que nos recuerda el profeta Isaías cuando nos dice que “manifestará toda justicia con verdad” y que le ha hecho “luz de las naciones para que abra los ojos de los ciegos, saque a los cautivos de la cárcel, de la prisión a los que habitan en tinieblas”.Por este motivo, y recordando nuestro propio bautismo, se nos invita a todos nosotros a vivir desde la autenticidad, procurando que nuestras relaciones con los demás tengan como base la justicia y la misericordia. Que vivamos cuidando de todo lo creado y en fidelidad al Dios que se nos manifiesta en Jesucristo. Paz y Bien.

If you are a parent volunteer and have been fingerprinted previously, you do not need to do it again. Contact the church office if you have questions.

NATIONAL VOCATION AWARENESS WEEK
November 5-11, 2023 is an annual week-long celebration of the Catholic Church in the United States dedicated to promoting vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and consecrated life through prayer and education, and to renew our prayers and support for those who are considering one of these particular vocations.
PATHWAY TO DISCIPLESHIP WRAP UP & WHAT’S NEXT EVENING
Peace to our Disciples of Jesus Christ who have participated in our first Pathway to Discipleship! You are invited to a one-evening reunion, to catch up with one another and learn more opportunities on how you can continue the journey.
The gathering will be on Wednesday November 29th from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. Like other sessions, we will provide a meal, childcare, Praise & Worship, a presentation, prayer time, and small group discussion. The topics presented will be how to continue your spiritual growth as individuals or in groups, and/or join in our parish ministry of evangelization or serve the parish in other ways. Please join us! Hop on board the Eucharistic Caravan to walk with Our Lord through the streets of San Francisco as pilgrims move towards Indianapolis for the National Eucharistic Congress this July. A pilgrimage is the simultaneous
movement of feet and soul to encounter God. This is a journey WITH Jesus. With the gift of the Eucharist, Jesus gave us a new way to walk alongside him. Do you want to accompany Jesus this May?

This weekend in lieu of the Maintenance Fund, OLG will hold a special collection for the Holy Land Emergency Relief Fund, to help those who are going through extreme difficulties in Gaza and Israel.
