SIXTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
JULY 19, 2026
This weekend, we celebrate the Sixteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time. In a world filled with confusion, we often struggle to distinguish the wheat from the weeds or to know how to pray as we ought. St. Paul reminds us in today’s second reading that the Holy Spirit comes to aid us in our weakness, interceding for us with sighs too deep for words. Let us rest in that divine comfort today, trusting that God knows our deepest longings and is constantly working to transform us into a rich harvest for His Kingdom.
LET'S PREPARE OUR HEARTS BEFORE MASS
Spending time reading and praying with the Mass readings before Mass helps prepare your heart to receive what God wants to communicate to you.
Mass Readings for Sunday, July 19
Paz y Bien.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS!
Giving with a cheerful heart is one of the ways we show our obedience to God and demonstrate our recognition that we are only stewards of our earthly possessions. God gives to you so He can give through you.
MAKE YOUR CHURCH DONATION ONLINE
We encourage parishioners to go paperless! Many of our parishioners donate online by setting up recurring donations. It is easy and efficient. This also helps our Church in saving costs on envelopes, stamps, paper, etc. If this method aligns with you, here is the link to set it up.
Another easy way to give a donation to the church’s general collection is by text. To get started, text the amount you want to give to 424-360-2500. With your first donation, you will receive a link to enter your payment information. After that, simply text the amount you want to give, and that is it! This is a great way to supplement your online recurring donation.

July 18-19 || What is Generative Artificial Intelligence?
Generative Artificial Intelligence is technology that allows a user to create new or alter existing images, videos, or text, based on user prompts or requests. It can be misused to create AI-generated child sexual abuse material, including sexually explicit or exploitative images that depict real children. According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, this technology is being used to exploit children, particularly in the creation of GAI Child Sexual Abuse Material, often generated from images that have already been posted or shared online. In many cases, the offenders were people who knew the child victims well. For more information, visit https://www.missingkids.org/theissues/generative-ai.
