SEVENTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
JULY 26, 2026
This is the 17th Sunday in Ordinary Time, and the Church invites us to reflect on what we value most in life. In our First Reading, King Solomon pleases God by asking not for riches or power, but for a wise and discerning heart. In the Gospel, Jesus reminds us that the Kingdom of Heaven is a priceless treasure worth sacrificing everything to possess.
LET'S PREPARE OUR HEARTS BEFORE MASS
Spending time reading and praying with the Mass readings before Mass helps prepare your heart to receive what God wants to communicate to you.
Mass Readings for Sunday, July 26
Paz y Bien.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS!
Giving with a cheerful heart is one of the ways we show our obedience to God and demonstrate our recognition that we are only stewards of our earthly possessions. God gives to you so He can give through you.
MAKE YOUR CHURCH DONATION ONLINE
We encourage parishioners to go paperless! Many of our parishioners donate online by setting up recurring donations. It is easy and efficient. This also helps our Church in saving costs on envelopes, stamps, paper, etc. If this method aligns with you, here is the link to set it up.
Another easy way to give a donation to the church’s general collection is by text. To get started, text the amount you want to give to 424-360-2500. With your first donation, you will receive a link to enter your payment information. After that, simply text the amount you want to give, and that is it! This is a great way to supplement your online recurring donation.

July 25-26 || Safety on the road this summer
Summer means more children are using paths and roads for biking, walking, and rolling. That is why the state of California started the “Protect Our Pedestrians. Protect Our Cyclists” education campaign. The campaign calls on drivers to slow down, look out for people of all ages who are biking and walking. One important way to stay safe is to teach children to put phones, headphones and devices down when crossing the street. For more information please visit: https://gosafelyca.org/share-the-road/.
Protejamos a nuestros ciclistas.”
