30TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
October 25, 2026
In the readings this Sunday, Jesus reminds us of the two greatest commandments. He calls us to love God with our entire heart, soul, and mind, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. Our readings challenge us to remember that true love for God is always reflected in how we treat others, especially the vulnerable, the stranger, and those in need. May we be open to receiving God's unconditional love, so that we may faithfully carry it out into our families, our neighborhoods, and the world.
LET'S PREPARE OUR HEARTS BEFORE MASS
Spending time reading and praying with the Mass readings before Mass helps prepare your heart to receive what God wants to communicate to you.
Mass Readings for Sunday, Oct. 25

THANK YOU FOR YOUR FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS!
Giving with a cheerful heart is one of the ways we show our obedience to God and demonstrate our recognition that we are only stewards of our earthly possessions. God gives to you so He can give through you.
MAKE YOUR CHURCH DONATION ONLINE
We encourage parishioners to go paperless! Many of our parishioners donate online by setting up recurring donations. It is easy and efficient. This also helps our Church in saving costs on envelopes, stamps, paper, etc. If this method aligns with you, here is the link to set it up.
Another easy way to give a donation to the church’s general collection is by text. To get started, text the amount you want to give to 424-360-2500. With your first donation, you will receive a link to enter your payment information. After that, simply text the amount you want to give, and that is it! This is a great way to supplement your online recurring donation.

October 24-25 || Trick or treat safety
Halloween is a fun night for a child, but it can be much more nerve-wracking for parents. We’re offering a few tips to keep things safe and fun while you are out trick-or-treating this year. Consider using reflective tape on your child’s costume, back, and shoes, to increase visibility. Your child may also want to wear glow stick necklaces and bracelets that will help them be seen by motorists and bicyclists. You should also consider using face paint or makeup instead of a mask for your child. Masks can make it harder for children to see, and harder for you to easily identify your child in a crowd. For more tips, please visit https://www.chla.org/blog/advice-experts/halloween-safety-tips-chla-expert.
