32ND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
November 8, 2026
The Word of God reminds us that true Wisdom is radiant, unfading, and readily found by those who seek her. Yet, seeking God requires active vigilance. The Gospel warns us against empty lamps and casual discipleship, emphasizing that our relationship with Christ requires daily personal commitment. Combined with Saint Paul's reassuring promise of the resurrection, we gather not in fear, but in hopeful expectation.
LET'S PREPARE OUR HEARTS BEFORE MASS
Spending time reading and praying with the Mass readings before Mass helps prepare your heart to receive what God wants to communicate to you.
Mass Readings for Sunday, Nov. 8
Bendiciones

THANK YOU FOR YOUR FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS!
Giving with a cheerful heart is one of the ways we show our obedience to God and demonstrate our recognition that we are only stewards of our earthly possessions. God gives to you so He can give through you.
MAKE YOUR CHURCH DONATION ONLINE
We encourage parishioners to go paperless! Many of our parishioners donate online by setting up recurring donations. It is easy and efficient. This also helps our Church in saving costs on envelopes, stamps, paper, etc. If this method aligns with you, here is the link to set it up.
Another easy way to give a donation to the church’s general collection is by text. To get started, text the amount you want to give to 424-360-2500. With your first donation, you will receive a link to enter your payment information. After that, simply text the amount you want to give, and that is it! This is a great way to supplement your online recurring donation.

November 7-8 || What is online exploitation?
Online exploitation is the use of the internet or digital technology to sexually exploit children or vulnerable adults. While this can happen in many ways, the most common examples include grooming, coercing a victim into sharing explicit images, or building up to meeting in person. Predators use social media, gaming platforms, livestreams, and even online communities to identify and isolate victims. Online exploitation against a minor is always a form of child abuse, even if nothing physical occurs. For more information, read the VIRTUS® article “Online Exploitation: What is it and what can we do?” at lacatholics.org/did-you-know.
Read the VIRTUS® article “Online Exploitation: What is it and what can we do?” here.
(Online Exploitation: What is it and what can we do?) en lacatholics.org/did-you-know
